John got his cast off on Monday. Yay! What a long four weeks. So far he is doing great. At first he couldn't remember how to sit up, but he's got that figured out again. His leg looks normal with the exception of some dry skin. He just needs to gain some muscle back and he'll be good as new. He can get around fine. He still has his soldier crawl down pat. It's so good to hold and snug him again without that hard cast getting in the way. I can't get enough hugs. He seems like a new man to us. What a relief it must be to be rid of that cast!

YAHOO! It is wonderful to get those casts off! Nice for the parents too. They get so yucky and it's so hard to bath around them!
I am so happy he is better. Poor kid! What a hard thing to go through. Your kids are so cute. Oh and by the way...what a NICE cabin! Where is bear lake is it? We have a condo there at Ideal Beach. Looks like you guys had a great christmas.
