Happy Birthday to Ellie

part one.

Ellie had an awesome birthday this year. We celebrated all weekend. On Saturday, we woke up early so Ellie could open her presents. She got a new bike, a DS game, and some clothes. She was most excited about her new "trick bike." This year Ellie opted for a bounce house again, and insisted on inviting only girls to her party. (so silly...she has so many nice boy friends...) The weather cooperated for most of the party, but we got a bit wet towards the end. The girls bounced, had cake, opened presents, and had a treasure hunt. It was a successful party, I just wish it had been warmer.

part two.

We really wanted to get our money's worth out of the bounce house, so on Saturday evening we invited our families over to celebrate Ellie's birthday and have our annual Halloween shindig. We had mummy dogs and taco soup for dinner. The kids bounced. Ellie got some more sweet presents, and we had a donut eating contest. It was so much fun. Uncle Mike was the big winner.

part three.

The festivities carried on into Sunday. (Ellie's actual birthday) The primary program was that morning, so Ellie was lucky enough to have all of her grandparents and her Aunt Missy join us for church. She did AWESOME on her part. That evening we went to the Cooks for dinner and pumpkin carving. Ellie received more very nice gifts, including the Barbie she's been longing for. Our pumpkins turned out great and we had a fun time carving them. It was so much fun to celebrate Ellie's 6th birthday this weekend. She's such a sweetheart and we love her a bunch!

Ellie did great carving her own pumpkin...for about one minute. Then Catherine finished it for her. Thanks again!

We love cleaning out pumpkins...NOT

John and David giving it a try...they thought it was gooey. David decided it was more fun to play in the water we were using to wash the gunk off our hands.

Nice post. Do you have some sort of outside posting consultant to help with the HTML code?
