We had such a fun Easter this year. We had our annual Easter Egg Hunt with the Allreds on Saturday. This is one of my favorite traditions. Ellie and the boys had a blast hunting eggs with their cousins. John was funny because as soon as he'd find something cool, he would try to put it back or hide it in a different place. David's favorite thing was getting bubble gum. He's crazy about gum lately. After the Easter egg hunt we had dinner, and then just took it easy playing games and putting together a puzzle.
On Sunday morning Ellie was up bright and early to see if the Easter Bunny had come. We had to wake up the boys to get them to come find eggs. David kept telling us that Santa had come. John was immediately done hunting eggs as soon as he noticed that the Easter Bunny had brought Toy Story. He parked it on the couch and waited for someone to turn it on. Of course, Ellie found the most eggs and even kept finding them throughout the day. (forgetful Easter Bunny...) The kids were excited about their new Easter pajamas, bubble wands, sidewalk chalk, and tons of candy. It's funny how the Easter Bunny brings the kids a bunch of candy and then for the rest of the day we keep telling them to stay out of it! For the rest of the day we watched Conference and hung out with family. It was a great Easter.

How cute! It looks like you guys had such a fun Easter. I totally agree about the Easter Bunny bringing all that candy and then we tell them all day to say out of it! LOL. What's up with that?! Glad you guys had a fun Easter!
i don't think i tell you enough how cute your kids are! we tell our kids to stay out ot the candy so bid and i can hog it all! : ) so glad you had a great easter! miss you!
