Our kids always look forward to coloring Easter eggs. They had fun this year, even though the whole activity lasted 15 minutes tops. It's fun to dip the eggs, but as far as my kids are concerned, waiting for them to get bright is the pits. David's fingers were a strange shade of green for a few days after coloring eggs because he couldn't keep his fingers out of the dye. John was done after dipping one egg. Ellie loves pink eggs.
