Happy Birthday David & John

** Sigh**  I can’t stand it…  Where did the time go!

David and John turned four!  They had been looking forward to their big day for weeks.  There was a fun atmosphere in our house.  This stage in their lives is very fun.  It’s awesome to see them develop personalities and learn things.  They are so smart.  For the most part they play well together, but sometimes they fight…just like any brothers.  David and John are about as different as night and day.  Different interest, different tempers, etc…  We love them so much.  Our family would not be complete without them.

We woke up early on the morning of their birthday and opened gifts.  (Big Sis had to get to school…)  We got them a sweet Power Wheels Dune Racer and some dinosaurs that they have been drooling over.  Dinosaurs (they still call them “dinosaurns”) are the one thing they can agree on.  The boys drove that car until the battery was dead that day.  They only stopped to have lunch with their friends Ben and Talia at McDonalds.

Later that evening our families came over for cake and ice cream.  The boys got some awesome gifts including Trios, Squinkies, kites, Hex Bugs, squirt guns, and dinosaurs.  Thanks to everyone who helped make it a special birthday for our boys.

David:  “Blue ‘dinosaurn’.”

John:  “Rex Flashlight and my Dune Racer".

David:  “Ellie, John, Payson, Ally, Sara, Allison, Jett, Ben.”

John: “Payson, Ben, David, and Ellie.”

David:  “Doc McStuppins” (Doc McStuffins on Disney) and "Octonerds” (Octonauts…We tease him by calling it Octonerds.)

John:  “Octonauts.”

What is your favorite treat?

David:  Bubble Gum (He’s not kidding…)

John:  “Kit kats.”

What’s your favorite book?

David: “Dumb Bunnies and No David!”

John: “Bear Bear story.” (There is no such thing…he was stumped.)

What’s your favorite movie?

David:  “I don’t like movies, just shows.”

John:  “Cars.”
