Easter 2012

2012 is just flying by.  Easter has come and gone!  We had a fun one this year.

Here are the kids coloring Easter eggs.  One of their favorite Easter activities.  Seems like any messy activity is good with this bunch.

We took the kids to the West Point City Easter egg hunt.  They had a great time even though it was over in about one minute. 

Easter morning is always fun.  The Easter bunny was generous.  The kids got a bunch of candy and prizes.  Ellie got new flip-flops and socks, the boys got angry bird t-shirts, and we got the Muppet movie for the family.  (John has a serious angry bird obsession…it’s so funny.)  The kids even got head lamps.  Can’t wait to try them out on a camping trip.

  After our traditional Easter egg hunt we stuck with our weekly tradition of being super late to church.  I am a slacker and didn’t take a picture of Ellie in her Easter dress.  She looked so pretty.  Especially with her glasses on.

That afternoon we ate dinner with the Cooks.  After dinner the kids played with Ben, and had a great time riding the little 4-wheeler.  I wish the boys were a little more scared of that thing!  It was a fun day.
