Talk about your good ideas gone bad... I thought it would be fun to have the kids help make and decorate sugar cookies last weekend. Oh boy! What a mess. The actual decorating was OK, but when we were rolling out the dough and using the cookie cutters, there were just too many hands. Sometimes it's just too hard to take turns. The kids ended up having a great time "painting" their cookies. I couldn't relax until after I had cleaned up the mess from the tornado that hit the kitchen.
